About KINSENN

KINSENN is a Japanese word to express when something beautiful moves you. There’s something about Japan that makes us feel that way.

In 2018 I moved to London, England from Tokyo, Japan.

Working for several years in the Japanese importing business made me realise that well-made Japanese crafts are highly sought after, not only in Europe but across the world.

I had never truly appreciated the beauty of Japanese craft culture until seeing it from the outside. This discovery sparked an idea to source high quality products made in Japan, and share them with the world.

This journey is my passion and mission. Welcome to Kinsenn.

 

 

２０１８年に故郷の東京を離れロンドンに移住。

移住後数年間日本製品の輸入販売に携わっていく中で、日本製のプロダクトへの信頼度や関心がヨーロッパだけでなく世界中で非常に高いことに気がつく。

作り手の丹精が込められた細かいディテールやデザインはもちろん高品質で長年愛され使いこめるように作られ、使い手が第一に喜んでもらえるように試行錯誤して作られている。日本にいた頃には身近にあったが為に到底気が付かなかったこの事実にようやく考えを巡らせるチャンスが訪れ、自らが良いと思った製品を選びロンドンから各地へ日本のくおりをもっとたくさんの人に届けたい。そんな想いからKINSENNを立ち上げました。
